As far as game quantity goes, DraftKings above average, with nearly 2,000 games on desktop and mobile.

In terms of game quality, DraftKings surprises… in a good way. Many of its blackjack and video poker games offer incredibly good rules; so good, that players will likely be able to hold on to their bankrolls much longer. Slot returns aren’t half-bad either, as many of DK’s providers offer games with returns of 96% or higher.

Given the brand’s notoriously high rake on DFS contests, and its often less than ideal pricing on sports, this came as a bit of a shock. Yes, playing casino games on DraftKings is a pretty good bet.

DraftKings Slots Games

As with most online casinos, slot machines make up the majority of casino games offered by DraftKings. The operator has worked with the best providers in the industry to bring some fantastic titles to their online casinos.

All of these games are double zero, and should probably be avoided, unless you really loathe fully digital games. Minimum wagers start at $0.10.
• Three Card Poker. Minimum wager of $0.50.
• Baccarat. Minimum wager of $1 (try finding that at a land-based casino).
• Dream Catcher. This is the Live Dealer version of the Big Wheel found at brick and mortar facilities. The house edge on this game is huge.

Worth noting, its that Live Dealer Blackjack players can also enjoy a variety of side bets, including 21+3 and Any Pair, but the house edge on these is rather lofty.

However, you can find DraftKings tables offering exclusive games to DraftKings players. The highlight is that DraftKings tables are available 24/7 compared to the shared tables available from 11 am to 3 am. However, Infinite Blackjack and all Roulette games are available 24/7.

DraftKings Table Games

DraftKings supports just about every mainstay table game found on casino floors in the US, plus a growing selection of exclusives. The options include numerous blackjack variants, such as standard blackjack and multi-hand blackjack, Lightning Roulette, pai gow poker, hi-lo, etc. The wagers on these games range from $0.10 to $10,000.

Its exclusive DraftKings Blackjack, which comes in multiple skins but is effectively all the same game, is a real treat, with extremely player-friendly rules like splits up to four hands, double downs on any two cards, and forcing the dealer to stand on all 17s. It has a theoretical expected payback of 99.62%, which to our knowledge is better than just about any blackjack game on the market. The game’s sharp aesthetic and seamless flow round out this terrific product.

DraftKings also supports three exclusive roulette games, which all look and feel great. However, DraftKings Basketball Roulette and DraftKings Roulette American are inferior to DraftKings Roulette European, as the latter only displays one zero on the wheel.

The site also supports multiple third-party blackjack and roulette games, none of which are particularly unique, but have their charms. If you’re looking to play multiple hands at once, Multihand Blackjack is a safe bet, while Blackjack Xchange has a nuance built in where players can get rid of one of their cards. Catch is they’ll get paid to toss a good card and will have to pay to dump a bad one. 

For carnival games and other cutesy games, DraftKings Casino has gone with SG Digital as its provider. Players can enjoy:

DraftKings Casino offers a standard video poker lineup, ranging from variants with mild volatility like Jacks or Better and Bonus Poker, to crazy games like Deuces Wild and Triple Double Bonus. What’s nice is that all of these games feature optimal or near-optimal payout tables and full 800 coin payouts on Royal Flushes despite the bet amount.

Unfortunately there are no multi-hand options. Players aren’t going to find popular game variations like Ultimate X or Dream Card either.

In NJ, DraftKings also offers flash versions of Jacks or Better and Double Double Bonus Poker. These are both 9/6 games (which are good for the player), but we do expect them to get phased out shortly.

There’s a lot to praise and a little to criticize when it comes to the DraftKings Casino app.

First, the positives. The DraftKings Casino app is extremely easy to set up. That’s primarily because there is only one app to download for mobile devices. The app, which is available for Apple and Android, encompasses both the sportsbook and the casino – only daily fantasy players have to download a separate application.

Even better: players don’t have to download different apps in each state. Instead DraftKings will customize what you see based on where you were geolocated. In other words, there isn’t a separate DraftKings NJ and DraftKings PA app, just a singular DraftKings Sportsbook and Casino app. We thought this was a clever way to reduce scaling issues as more states legalize online gambling.

Another nice touch is that players share a wallet between the sportsbook and the casino, across all markets. This stands in contrast to some gambling sites that force customers to maintain separate balances in each state. Of course, the drawback here is that players can only enjoy one set of welcome bonuses.

The downside of all this is that when you aren’t in a state with legal online gambling or the app can’t definitively determine your physical location, it implements overzealous but random geolocation restrictions. For example, the app may only show a partial list of games in some categories but not others or prevent players from viewing some (but not all) available casino promotions. Or, it might display some casino promotions but disable viewing their expanded explanations and conditions.

Performance-wise, there are no issues to report. The app loads full games lists without lag, launches games quickly, and allows users to switch between vertical or landscape mode at will.

The casino lobby spots a black background and is well-organized, with all the games hosted into categories available from the left-side vertical bar. On the plus side, support is available 24/7, and in our experience, they were very quick to respond, even during peak hours. The reps we encountered were well-spoken, knowledgeable of the site, and able to help us with some tricky issues. It’s just too bad there’s no direct line to them.
