Bet365 Pros
- Upfront welcome bonus, not a refund
- Unmatched sport/league coverage
- Fast live chat support
- Verified history dating to 2000
Bet365 Cons
- No rewards program
- Uninspiring ongoing promos
Bet365 is the most experienced online gambling operator in the United States, having served 90 million customers internationally since its launch in 2000.
The Bet365 brand made its US debut after securing a New Jersey sports betting license in 2019. Since then, Bet365 Sportsbook has expanded into a dozen additional states, with more to come.
Unlike most US betting sites, Bet365 Sportsbook remains a privately held company and has overwhelmingly positive reviews from verified customers. That said, no sports betting site is perfect. The following Bet365 Sportsbook review will discuss where this platform excels, what it needs to improve, and what you can expect if you decide to sign up for an account.
Some of Bet365’s highlight features include:
- Live streams with in-play betting
- Daily odds boosts
- Same game parlays
- Early payouts if your team gets ahead by X points
- Edit my bet
Bet365 Bonus Code and Ongoing Promos

The Bet365 bonus for new customers is a bit on the smaller side but is one of the easiest to clear and actually proves useful compared to some of the other offers we have reviewed to date.
Typical ongoing promos include frequent profit boosts, early payouts, a referral program, and daily lineups (free-to-play fantasy contests with cash prizes). Some of Bet365’s longterm promos for existing customers provide significant value, but only in specific use cases.
Bet365’s biggest miss in the promos department is the lack of a loyalty program. Other sportsbooks’ loyalty programs add measurable value to bettors big and small, but Bet365 offers nothing of the sort currently.
Bet365 Sportsbook Bonus for New Customers

New Bet365 customers can claim one of two welcome bonuses:
- Get $150 in bonus bets when you bet $5, win or lose
- Up to $2,000 in bonus bets if your first wager loses
The first bonus is ideal if you’re a low-stakes bettor, but if you’re comfortable with bigger bets, the 100% insurance offer up to $2,000 makes sense.
Both Bet365 bonuses require new users to deposit at least $10, but no bonus code is needed. Instead, new customers must choose which bonus they want during registration.
If you take the first offer, you’ll receive $150 in bonus bets when you place a first bet of at least $5. Unlike typical refund offers, the Bet365 $150 bonus pays regardless of the qualifying wager’s outcome. Naturally, this is the option to take if you plan to bet a smaller amount or want to minimize risk.
The second offer features a significantly higher cap, but it only pays if your first bet loses. This bonus offers more EV for larger bets but incurs the risk losing the first wager and the follow-up bonus bet.
Using some rough, back-of-the-envelope math and assuming you blindly pick an even-money qualifying wager, the $150 bonus offer is the clear winner for initial bets of $300 and under. If you add some strategy to the mix or pick a longer-odds wager, the cut-off rises even higher.
Bet365 Parlay Boosts
This longstanding Bet365 promotion boosts parlay payouts by up to 100% on all major US sports leagues and various international sports.
Bet365 parlay boosts range from 2.5% to 100% and pay up to $150,000 in additional winnings, delivered directly to customers’ accounts as withdrawable cash.
The number of legs in the parlay determines the payout boost, starting at 2.5% for 2-leg parlays and increasing up to 100% for 20-leg parlays.
For example, a $20 wager on a 5-leg parlay with +4434 odds would normally pay $886.86 plus the original stake for a total return of $906.86. However, Bet365’s parlay boost would add 10% to your net win (roughly $87 extra) for a total return of $995.55.
Parlay boosts are available for these markets and sports:
Markets | Leagues |
---|---|
Spread/RunLine/Puck Line, Game Total, 1st Half Spread, 1st Half Totals, 2nd Half Spread | NFL, NCAAF, CFL, NBA, Olympic Basketball, FIBA America, Basketball World Champs, FIBA World Cup, WNBA, NCAAB, MLB, Japan NPB, Korea KBO, ATP, WTA, Challenger Tour, Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup, Hockey World Championships, Hockey World Championships Div 1A, Olympic Hockey, most soccer leagues |
2nd Half Totals | NFL, NCAAF, CFL, NBA, WNBA, NCAAB |
Run in the 1st Inning | MLB, Japan NPB, Korea KBO |
To Win Fight, Fight Outcome | MMA (any event) |
Early Payouts
If your team gains a large lead at any point during a game, Bet365 considers your bet a winner and instantly pays your winnings. Early payouts are available for games in the NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAAB, and numerous international professional leagues.
- NFL Early Payout: Pays if your team gets ahead by 17 points at any time
- NBA Early Payout: Pays if your team gets ahead by 20 points at any time
- NHL Early Payout: Pays if your team gets ahead by three goals at any point
- MLB Early Payout: Pays if your team gets ahead by five runs at any point
- Early Soccer Payout: Pays if your team gets ahead by two goals at any point
In short, this promo makes it easier to pick winners at Bet365.
If your pre-match bet is part of a Parlay or Same Game Parlay, you still have nothing to worry about. Once the team you backed reaches the early payout threshold, your bet will be registered as won, and you can focus on your parlay’s remaining legs.
Referral Bonus
When someone signs up via your link and deposits and wagers $10+, you’ll both receive $50 worth of bonus bets. The bonus bets are stake not-returned, and winnings can be instantly withdrawn, no wagering requirements apply.
Daily Lineups
Bet365 offers free-to-play salary cap fantasy sports contests with real cash prizes. Participation is simple: customers log in, assemble a team of athletes, and submit their lineups for chances to win money.
Depending on the season, Bet365 offers Daily Lineups for football, basketball, baseball, hockey, golf, MMA, soccer, and Formula 1, with $25,000+ prize pools.
Bet365 Sports Betting Review
Bet365 stands unique among online betting operators in many respects due to the company’s penchant to develop technology in-house rather than outsource development to the same handful of third-party providers used by most of the competition.
This tendency to develop its own technology has also enabled Bet365 to move faster on opportunities than many of its publicly traded competitors. For instance, Bet365.com was an early mover on in-play betting and in launching a dedicated mobile app for smartphone users.
While other betting sites rely on the innovations of their software partners, Bet365 itself has the ability to innovate in response to customer demand. The end result is a mobile sportsbook that does not quite look or feel like the many others that operate in the market today.
That being said, we’re still just talking about sports betting here. Like the other online sportsbooks on the market, Bet365 lists upcoming games and popular leagues on the front page, provides quick links to in-play betting events that are in progress and provides a simple navigation menu to browse each sports league.
Betting Odds
On average, Bet365 has superior odds compared to other major US sportsbooks, particularly when it comes to certain leagues like soccer, basketball, and tennis.
Bet365 also has lower juice, and thanks to their daily odds boosts, you don’t have to dig too deep to find worthwhile deals. We recommend adding Bet365 to your rotation of sportsbooks because we often find they’ll undercut some of their competitors, so it’s always worth checking their prices before you place your bet.
Available Sports Markets
Bet365.com covers every major sport in the US and abroad. Each sport is covered in great detail, to the point you will find everything from standard NFL games all the way down to second division Japanese soccer.
Football | Basketball | Baseball | Hockey |
Soccer | Tennis | Australian Rules | Boxing |
MMA | Cricket | Cycling | Darts |
Golf | Motor Sports | Rugby League | Rugby Union |
Snooker | Squash | Badminton | Esports |
Handball | Lacrosse | Pelota | Table Tennis |
Volleyball |
Types of Wagers Offered
To date, Bet365 offers more betting markets per individual sporting event than any other sportsbook we have reviewed. A recent NFL game, for example, was covered with 201 wagering options that included all the standard moneylines and point spreads along with totals, props, 1st quarter props, 1st half props and many more.
Bet365 Sportsbook also offers custom parlays, advanced parlays and banker bets can be created by adding multiple selections to your betting slip. The options for customizing advanced parlays are numerous.
Some of Bet365’s most notable bet types and features include:
Cash Out
Bet365 makes it easy to reduce your risk and avoid losing your entire stake thanks to their early cash out feature. You simply hit a button, and bet365 will settle your bet early. They’ll tell you exactly how they’ll pay prior to you cashing out. In our experience, Bet365 tends to be more generous with their cash-out offers compared to other US sportsbooks.
Edit Bet
Having second thoughts after placing a bet? Bet365’s Edit Bet feature allows customers to adjust outstanding wagers. With the Edit Bet feature, bettors can change bet types and add, swap, or remove selections. The caveat is that when you edit the bet, the new stake will be the current cash out value of your initial wager.
Same Game Parlays
You can place same game parlays at bet365 for soccer, NBA, and MLB games. We hope that bet365 adds extra sports in the future. For example, we’d love to make NHL same game parlays.
Thanks to bet365’s bet builder feature, you can create the same game parlays within seconds, and if you take advantage of the profit boost promotion, you can lock in some awesome odds. While same game parlays are a cool feature, be warned that they don’t offer the best value, you’re typically better off making single bets.
Bet365 Live Streaming Sports

Bet365 provides more live streaming sports feeds than any other sportsbook on the market today (roughly 200,000+ HD live streams annually).
If you have a funded account or have placed a wager within the last 24 hours, you can watch live soccer, tennis, basketball, snooker, darts, cricket and squash matches from your desktop or mobile device.
Live streaming video is still relegated to mostly minor sports for now, but that is par for the course in the United States. As the US sports betting market matures, we will look for Bet365 and other operators to strike deals with the major leagues (think NFL and NBA).
Interface and Presentation

The Bet365 website does not look as polished as many of its competitors and looks somewhat dated by modern standards. In fact, the interface has not changed much over the last decade or more.
However, this may be a case of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The Bet365 interface provides a straightforward listing of popular wagers and leagues, a simple navigation menu and clear labels that explain where everything is.
Visiting the football tab, for example, provides a full list of all upcoming games for all leagues. You can further drill down to the NFL in particular to visit a page listing the next slate of NFL games along with point spread, moneyline and totals odds. This page also shows how many markets are offered for each game, and selecting any game brings up a full list of wagering options for that particular game.
Once you’re inside the game page, you can further refine the list of wagers by selecting tabs dedicated to specific categories of wagers such as “main markets,” “main props,” “score props,” “1st half props” and so on.
Bet365 manages to squeeze a lot of information and markets onto each page, so the text may be a bit small for some readers.

Bet365 App Review

Mobile users can download the official mobile app for iOS and Android devices or head to Bet365.com for a mobile-optimized version of the website.
In each instance, the mobile experience largely resembles the full desktop interface with all the same types of wagers, in-play betting options and live streaming capabilities left intact.
The mobile app launches quickly and wagers the book is generally organized in an intuitive manner. We did find ourselves scrolling a bit more than we would like at times, but that is to be expected when single events are covered by upwards of 200 markets in some cases.
We also noticed a number of little touches that combine to make this app feel like a well-designed product. For example, you will notice that if you visit an in-play betting event and scroll down to view more wagers, the graphic depiction of the court/field automatically resizes to make more room for viewing the odds. Scroll back up to the top and the graphic snaps back into place in its original position.

Bet365 In-Play Betting
In-play betting is one of Bet365’s bigger strong points. Bet365 covers more in-play betting events, offers more markets on each event and provides more live streaming video than any other sportsbook in the US today.
Visiting the in-play tab on any given day will show a full calendar of events spanning the world of professional and collegiate sports. Visiting any specific game will bring you to a page dedicated to that event with a list of markets open for betting along with updated odds and either a live stream of the match or a digital view of the match showing the action on the field (see screenshots below).
The types of wagers offered for in-play events covers standard point spreads and totals with odds updated in real time along with many other live betting options such as the race to X number of points, next scoring play, winning margin and a whole variety of props.

Bet365 securely stores all player data and is compliant with all regulations surrounding player privacy.
In addition to the above, Bet365 verifies the identity of all players and actively prevents underage gambling, identity fraud, and money laundering. You can also secure your account with 2FA, making it extremely difficult for hackers to break into your betting account.
Customer Support

As one of the biggest sportsbooks on the planet, it’s not surprising that bet365 offers high-level customer support. If you want a quick response, we recommend contacting them via live chat, which operates 24/7. From our experience, bet365’s customer support is friendly, and they always take the time to answer any queries in detail. You can also contact them via email (support-eng@customerservices365.com), but they can take up to 24 hours to reply.
How to Sign Up For A Bet365 Account
Is Bet365 Legit?
Yes. We’ve noted that Bet365.com hit the internet in 2000, but the company itself dates back even farther. Well before the advent of online sports betting, Bet365 operated as a family-owned chain of UK betting shops established by Peter Coates in 1974.
Peter Coates brought his daughter Denise into the family business where she began as a cashier. Denise Coates learned the sports betting business firsthand, went off to college and then came back work as an accountant for the firm.
The family would later sell off the betting shops to another major UK sports betting firm to leave Denise Coates wondering what to do next. It was around this time online gambling was just beginning to take off and she decided to make a go of launching an online sportsbook.
This led to the launch of Bet365 in 2000 and from there the company expanded rapidly to eventually become a behemoth in online betting. Today, Bet365 today is one of the largest online betting companies in the world and the largest private company in the business.
More importantly, Bet365 is licensed in every state where it offers online sports betting.
